Kahlid Jan Dawar is a Pakistani politician born in Hamzoni, Miramshah headquarter of North Waziristan a part former FATA now known as merged district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He started his political career as student leader at local college. He was best in student politics and so soon became president of Jamiat Taluba Islam ( JTI ), a student wing of the mainstream political party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. He fought for the student’s rights. It was the time when his region was worst hit by war on terror. As most of the educational institutions were closed so he carried campaigns to open up schools and colleges. He helped students in admissions and other such students issues.
After completion of his education he formally joined the largest party in the region named Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F (JUI). He also remained an activist for peace in the region. He volunteered as helper during the military operation and helped internally displaced persons and their families.
Due to his human rights and political activities Khalid Jan Dawar got fame as one of the leading young politician at his home district.
Khalid Jan Dawar is very much close to the party’s central leadership and got many responsibilities inside in his organisation.
It was Khalid Jan Dawar’s effective communication, networking skills and the art if public relationning that the central leadership and party workers designated him for the post of Secretary Information for the newly merged all seven districts.
